Shaykh Umar al-Kiswani President of Masiid al-Aqsa

Shaykh Umar al-Kiswani said that the hardship, sleeplessness and stress of being president of Masiid al-Aqsa made him contemplate leaving his role and focusing on Academia, so he phoned a wali in Nablus to ask his advice. Shaykh 'Umar said, "The wali told me, 'I knew you were going to call. I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in my dreams and he was sitting close to Masjid al-Aqsa reciting du'as of protection upon you and praying for you - asking Allah to protect you from
wide the people of evil... And Rasulallah ﷺ I told me,
'This 'Umar is like 'Umar in al-Khattāb ؓ in his name and in the manner that he protects Islam.'
One time, I spoke to the Imam and he said, "I have not slept properly for the last 5 nights due to worry for al-Aqsa.

Exams, jobs, marriage, children, paying debts, rizq and everything else which we need: everything has been written for us by Allah. No one can prevent you from that which is promised for you and no one can give you that which has not be destined. Even His preventing is a giving, and a beautiful gift. If we truly realise this concept then we'd remain content and patient in all states no matter how difficult things may seem, and no matter how hard the adversity. *Everything is being taken care for us by the Creator of the worlds. Our job is patience, prayer and gratitude.* We entrust all our matters with Allah.
